I got the Macbook over the pro since I don't ever play games on my computer (yay, Wii!), and mostly just browse the web, write papers, work with Matlab, sometimes code. My only concern is if it will be able to power it *well* or not. The specs for the Macbook say it can drive up to 1920x1200, so I'm looking into either a 23" Apple Cinema Display or 24" Dell 2307WFP (leaning towards the latter). Since most of the time I use the laptop at my desk I would like to get a monitor for it.
